The Des Moines Legacy Foundation (DMLF), a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports the City of Des Moines Parks, Recreation and Senior Services. The DMLF is hosting its annual Sports Night tailgate party, casino night, dinner and auction to fund recreation experiences for our many Des Moines low income youth. The goal is to raise $20,000 for recreation scholarships that will allow children that could not otherwise afford to enroll, play basketball, soccer, softball or join in pre-school, after school, dance and day camp activities. This keeps our children engaged in positive,  healthy, life enhancing activities that build character and self esteem.  Please help Des Moines kids through your attendance and pass it on to others that may enjoy the event! The night is fun and there is sports memorabilia (such as signed footballs, baseballs, jerseys, etc.) and good food! Oh and by the way, it's fun! DMLF is a volunteer organization and 100% of the proceeds go back into the Des Moines community!
